operation

The teacher asked in the previous entry, so I gave a remarkably coherent explanation of my first ear operation. If you're not in the know, tubes are supposed to correct narrow Eustachian tubes, which is how the ears drain into the sinus cavity. I still vividly remember going under anesthesia for the first time. Then I passed out and woke up in a hospital room.

I had them several times, from when I was seven until I was twelve, and they failed to cure my earache problem. It wasn't until puberty when my adorably round head morphed into the awkward mess it is today, that my ears could drain properly.
